Refund & Cancellation Policy
Plans are paid monthly and renew until you cancel. Top-ups are always one-time payments.
1. What you pay for
A plan gives you a month of test hours from the moment the payment goes through. A top-up adds extra hours to a running plan and lasts 60 days. Every price is shown in Indian rupees on the pricing page before you pay.
2. Cancelling
Your plan is renewed and charged every month through UPI Autopay or your card. You can cancel at any time by turning off auto-renew in your profile. The month you have already paid for stays, and no further payment is taken; when it ends, your account moves to the Free plan. You can also cancel the mandate from your UPI app or bank. Deleting your account cancels it at once.
If your plan starts later (after your free trial or your current month), ₹5 is taken when you set it up, to approve the monthly payment. It is refunded automatically within 5 to 7 working days.
Renewals continue into the new academic year until you turn auto-renew off, or until an offer price ends. Each March we remind you to check your class in Profile. Turning auto-renew off before your renewal date means you are not charged again, and your paid month stays.
3. Refunds and payment issues
Successful payments for plans, monthly auto-renewals and top-ups are non-refundable. You can turn off auto-renew at any time to stop future charges. Your current plan remains active until the end of its paid period.
We resolve the following payment issues:
- Charged but not added: if money left your account but the plan or hours did not appear, write to us. We either add them or refund you in full.
- Charged twice: a duplicate payment for the same purchase is refunded in full.
4. Purchases in the iPhone and Android apps
In the apps, plans and top-ups are bought through the App Store or Google Play, at the price the store shows. A plan bought there is a monthly subscription: it starts when the payment goes through and renews automatically each month until you cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the month you have paid for stays and is not refunded by us. Top-ups are one-time purchases. Refunds for these purchases are decided by Apple or Google under their own policies: ask Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, or Google from your Google Play order history. A refunded purchase or month is taken back from your account.
5. Reporting a payment issue
Email support@prepitup.in from the address on your account, with the payment ID from your receipt email. We reply within 2 working days.
An approved refund goes back to the card, UPI account or bank you paid with. It usually reaches you within 5 to 7 working days, depending on your bank.
